Clients can pay your invoices by UPI, card or net banking, and the invoice is marked paid automatically.
Your money goes straight to you. You connect your own Razorpay account. Clients pay into it and Razorpay settles to your bank as usual. MSMEPulse never holds your money. Razorpay's fees are charged to you by Razorpay.
Try it first in test mode
- Go to Settings → Online payments and choose Test mode. Click Save.
- Open an issued invoice and click Copy link for client, then open the link yourself.
- Click Pay online. You'll see a test payment page; click Pay. The invoice is marked paid.
No real money moves in test mode.
Go live with Razorpay
- In your Razorpay Dashboard, go to Account & Settings → API Keys and generate keys.
- Go to Webhooks → Add new webhook:
- Paste the Webhook address shown in MSMEPulse.
- Choose a secret of your own, and tick the event payment_link.paid.
- Back in MSMEPulse, enter the Key ID, Key secret and the same Webhook secret.
- Choose Live and click Save.
Without the webhook, payments still reach you, but MSMEPulse can't mark invoices paid automatically.
How clients pay
- By email: when you click Email to client, the email has a View and pay online button.
- By link: Copy link for client gives you a link to share on WhatsApp or anywhere else. A new link replaces the old one.
- In the client portal: invited contacts can pay from there.
When a payment is confirmed, the invoice shows Paid online, you get an email, and the client gets a receipt.
TDS isn't deducted from online payments. If a client wants to deduct TDS, they pay by bank transfer and you record the payment by hand.
