Clocking in and out
On My day, click Clock in when you start and Clock out when you finish. Forgot? Choose Ask for a correction, and your manager approves it.
Your shift decides what counts as late (after the start time plus a few minutes' grace), a half day, or absent. If your employer has switched on location capture, the clock-in screen says so.
The attendance grid
Attendance shows each person by day: P present, ยฝ half day, A absent, L on leave (with the leave code), H holiday and W weekly off. A small dot marks late arrivals. Managers can click a day to change it, and must say why. Every change goes in the activity log.
Leave
Choose Request leave, pick the kind and the dates. Weekly offs and holidays in between aren't counted. Your manager gets an email, and sees your open tasks and who else on the team is away before deciding. Once it's approved, your balance goes down and the days show as leave on the grid. If you have no paid leave left, choose leave without pay. It's deducted from salary.
Holidays and offices (India)
Each office has a state. Everyone gets the national holidays; state holidays (like Maharashtra Day or Kannada Rajyotsava) apply only to people in an office in that state. Holidays are pre-loaded. Check them against the official list in People โ Settings each year.
Leave rules
MSMEPulse starts you on your country's rules:
- India: earned, casual and sick leave from your state's Shops and Establishments Act, 26 weeks' maternity leave, and leave without pay.
- Singapore: annual leave of 7 days in the first year, rising by a day a year to 14; 14 days' outpatient and 60 days' hospitalisation leave; government-paid maternity, paternity and childcare leave.
Change any of them in People โ Settings.
Employee records
Directory โ a person holds their job, office, shift, ID numbers and bank details. ID and bank numbers show only their last four characters unless you have payroll access. Employees can update their own phone, emergency contact and bank details. From the same page, HR prints an appointment letter (India) or Key Employment Terms (Singapore, due within 14 days of starting) and records an exit for the full-and-final settlement.
Notice board
Admins post company notices. Anyone can thank a colleague.
