Getting started

Business Pulse and the compliance calendar

See how the business is doing and what needs your attention today, and never miss a statutory deadline.

Admins and Finance see the Business Pulse on their home screen. Each card shows a figure, what it means and a status: On track, Watch or Act now, in words as well as colour. Click Open to see the records behind it.

  • Cash collected: payments received so far this month, compared with the same point last month.
  • Owed to you: everything outstanding, how much is overdue, and the five clients who owe the most overdue.
  • MSMED Act: clients paying late (India, if your business is a micro or small enterprise): invoices unpaid more than 45 days after acceptance, with an estimate of the interest the law allows (three times the RBI bank rate, compounded monthly). It's never added to an invoice.
  • MSME suppliers to pay (India): bills from micro and small vendors due within 7 days or already past the legal date.
  • Projects at risk: projects whose budget is being used faster than tasks are finished, or that are past their end date.
  • Billable utilisation: billable hours against available hours over the last 30 days.
  • Pipeline coverage: weighted open deals against your monthly revenue target.
  • Waiting for you: timesheets, leave, corrections and claims you need to approve.
  • Accounting sync: anything that hasn't reached Tally, Zoho Books or Xero.

Change when cards turn to Act now with Thresholds. You also get the Pulse by email every Monday at 8 am; switch it off there.

Compliance calendar

Compliance lists your statutory deadlines: GST returns, TDS, PF and ESI, advance tax and company filings in India; CPF, GST F5, IR8A, ECI and Form C-S in Singapore. Owners get an email 7 days and 1 day before each one. Tick a deadline when it's filed and the reminders stop. Add your own, like licence renewals. If you file GST quarterly in India, tick We file GST quarterly (QRMP).
